Colin Taylor

Colin Taylor was Devon born. He graduated from Leicester Polytechnic in the late 80's then promptly abandoned his qualifications in pharmasutical research to pursue a career in Tropical Conservation Biology. In the mid 90's, mosquito bitten an inch beyond his tolerance, he returned to his county of birth and became a police officer. Posted from Exeter to the Isles of Scilly he served there as the Police Sergeant where his blogging drew wide acclaim. He has written a best selling, warm and humerous account of his time policing the archipelago of Scilly "The Life of a Scilly Sergeant" published by Century at Penguin Random House and translated into German. He is still a serving police officer.
