Hi, from Brian John (BJ) Steven.

I consider I've had a fortunate life, (at least so far) and trust that my present state of contentment continues well into the future.

Until I retired nine years ago, I owned and managed a number of diverse businesses. Ranging from wholesaling, restaurants, ostrich farming, function catering, and helping pioneer hydroponics in the state of Victoria, Australia.

After becoming bored with retirement, I moved to Queensland and settled beside the ocean in a small community called Toogoom, which is situated fifteen minutes North of Hervey Bay (the whale watching capital of Australia) and overlooking the world renowned Fraser Island).

Once I was set up in my new home, I took up painting with a vengeance and worked feverishly until I had covered every available wall space with framed paintings.

That's when I turned to writing.

With my faithful black Labrador (Leo) curled up asleep at my feet, I find it cathartic to immerse myself in the creation of believable plots for my books.

I'm afraid that's where I have to stop. Leo is demanding we go for our daily walk on the beach.
