Tonya L. Putnam

I am Associate Professor of Political Science at Columbia University. My research focuses on the intersection of international relations and international law. My work touches on many topics, including extraterritoriality, transnational regulatory processes, human rights, international humanitarian law, migration, international dispute resolution, treaty politics, institutional design, and post-conflict transitions. I have a Ph.D. from Stanford University, a J.D. from Harvard Law School, and I am a member of the California State Bar.
