Originally from Queens, NY. K.N. Jackson decided to relocate to the tranquil suburbs of Maryland, unbeknownst to her, to pursue a new life and career. It prompted her to remember as pre-teen she had written and co-directed plays for the local community theater.
She had always loved the simplicity of taking words and breathing life into them. Along the way to adulthood, she let go of her imagination and the excitement of words and in 2014 her life had taken an extraordinary turn. New ways and new experiences couldn’t satisfy her restless nature. She was seeking freedom, opportunities to enjoy life, to make love with words, be successful and ignite other women to achieve their goals. She needed a career that would allow her to be free to do just that. Writing. Writing was the answer to building a valuable career and helping other women find the freedom to experience much of the same.
"As women we have no idea what we are capable of doing until we put our minds to doing it. This by far has been the boldest endeavor of my life. I love writing and more importantly helping other women grow past themselves, whether it be heartbreak, hopelessness or loneliness. We are all in this together, bridging a better life for one another. In parting with these words, if there is anything you want to do, DO IT!
K. N. Jackson is the author of Simply Lace Finding Love Through Loss, published, May 2016. She is also the Producer to the stage play Simply Lace Finding Love Through Loss, featured at the THEARC Theater in Washington D.C, May 2017. This journey has changed my entire life forever and I am past grateful to God for blessing me with the gift of words, and to think it all started with a "Simple" book."
