Emily McEwan
Dr. Emily McEwan is a Gaelic specialist and language revitalization expert in Halifax, Nova Scotia. She has been involved with Scottish Gaelic language and culture for over 30 years, first in Scotland and later in Nova Scotia. Dr. McEwan has a Ph.D. in linguistic anthropology from University of Chicago. She is the former editor of the small languages (SLSLC) section of the International Journal of the Sociology of Language and has published numerous academic research articles.
