Eric West

Eric L. West was born on August 2, 1988 in Wyanesboro, MS. He attended Southern Choctaw High School and graduated in 2006. Eric attended the University of West Alabama. He took many courses, which included Accounting, Finance, Business Law, Management, Marketing, Business Communication, Business Statistics, and Operations Management. While attending, he worked at the Business department computer lab as the Supervisor for 3 years where he managed and tutored many students in those courses, and many other courses. While attending the University of West Alabama, Eric’s academics earned him many awards and roles in many organizations. He was on the National Dean’s List, was appointed to the Gilbert Award Committee, a member of the Phi Eta Sigma Honor Society for students with GPAs over 3.0, and served as President of the Upsilon Pi Epsilon Honor Society. Eric was also a member of the Business Fraternity, Delta Sigma Pi, where he served as President, Sr. Vice President, Webmaster, and was the Representative for the Student Government Association. During his college years at the University of West Alabama, Eric also was on the cover of student handbooks and magazines. He graduated in December 2009 and received the University Scholars Award for having the highest GPA in his department. Eric wanted to gain more knowledge in Management, Business, and Technology. In mid 2010, he began attending the University of Phoenix, where he obtained his Masters degree in Management Information Systems in November 2011, which was only a little over a year. In August 2013, he went back to the University of Phoenix to receive a graduate certification in Human Resource Management.
