Julie Lobalzo Wright

Dr. Julie Lobalzo Wright is an Assistant Professor in Film and Television Studies at the University of Warwick. Her main research is in stardom, musicals, and animation. She has published on the A Star is Born musical films, Diane Keaton and Annie Hall, The concert tours represented in The Rose and A Star is Born (1976), The Rock in Moana, David Bowie's film stardom and music video oeuvre, Woodstock and Gimme Shelter as music documentaries, and Robert Redford as a blonde male film star. She received her PhD in Film Studies from King's College London and has taught at University of Surrey, King's College London and Queen Mary, University of London.
