My debut novel Changed Times - part one of a trilogy on 17th century Scotland - describes a turbulent time. For me it's all about conveying these traumatic events through the eyes and lives of individual people, to give them their voice; a voice the reader can relate to.
Have always loved stories, always admired a good storyteller, longed to become one. As a child I told my stories through pictures. Later as an illustrator I interpreted the words of others before daring to link my own word with my own pictures. Now the words seem to have taken over.
