Lorraine arrived in Big Spring, Texas, to Air Force parents. Upon seeing her granddaughter, Isabella Marie, her Scottish gram, renamed her "Lore" as she felt Lorraine was too big a name for the "wee 6-pound lassie."

This nomadic military life sparked a fearless, adventurous attitude; she lived throughout America, Japan, and Honduras. Leading retreats to Bali, Italy, and Peru, with other world travels, inspire Lore’s words and work with clients. As a solo traveler, she toured Scotland, an ancestral home, for 27 days in September 2022.

She emboldens clients to discover their authentic voices and then translates the messages into books and other channels. Her intuitive wisdom now finds expression in sacred service for those stuck or reluctant to write or create.

REWIND - A Peruvian shaman bestowed a sacred condor feather and the title of “chacaruna” --a bridge keeper-- while co-leading a trip together. He challenged Lore to help people express their authentic power and messages. She met his challenge five years ago when a dream came true: becoming a bestselling co-author! Five of the nine books reached #1 Amazon international rankings in several women’s empowerment and spiritual categories.

Group teaching experiences include serving as a writing instructor with OLLI at Eckerd College (Osher Lifelong Learning Institute) and leading life-transforming writing courses and women's retreats.

Due to COVID-19, the Women's Divine Dialogue Writing Circle in Tampa Bay, FL stopped their monthly in-person meetings after 16 years. This was a significant setback as the Divine Dialogue Writing System TM, created by Lore, was commonly taught and practiced during these meetings.only taught and practiced during these meetings.

As the “chief cat herder," she's mentored several contributors to Women as Visionaries with Lore Raymond, a 7.7K Facebook page showcasing global sHeros.

2024

Chosen from 1,700 proposals, the Writing Medicine and Divine Dialogue topics became a featured panel discussion at North America’s largest literary event—the Annual Conference of the Association of Writers and Writing Programs in Portland, Oregon, March 2019. Lorraine acted as the moderator and a presenter.

St. Petersburg, Florida, remains home after 41 years with global sojourns elsewhere! Lore also holds two Master’s Degrees from American University, Washington, D.C. (Human Resources), and; Framingham State College, Framingham, MA (Education).
