David G. Hunter is the great-great grandson of Civil War veteran and hero, Enoch Hunter, the grandson of a World War I veteran and the son of a World War II veteran; not to mention the nephew of seven uncles who served in the U.S. armed forces — one of whom gave his life for his country. Hunter graduated from Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan with a B.A. in English. After a long and successful business career, Hunter formed his own business. He has always expressed much interest in history, late 19th and early 20th centuries in particular, and in the research and preservation of its past. When not writing, Hunter enjoys the outdoors, baseball, music, movies and television documentaries, tracing his family genealogy and, of course, reading, as well as a good laugh. He was born and raised near Detroit, Michigan, where he currently lives with his wife and two children.
