Joan Doyle

Joan Doyle - Born in Ireland, into a large family, Joan was given a respect for the past by her father's deeply held regard for his ancestors and sacred places and people of his youth. From her mother she learned human kindness by example and that the virtues of spirit are more valuable than material things.

Roots are what nourish us as we seek the light and grow through new experiences! This is what Joan has done all her life, moving to Los Angeles at the age of 31. She traveled in Africa since then and climbed its highest peak Kilimanjaro. You can read that story in her book Spirit is Talking to You, which is a collection of 50 stories from a variety of people and backgrounds telling of how they connect with their version of God. She traveled around the world, via Thailand, India, Morocco, Spain, Portugal, England, Ireland and Canada. Joan completed three Marathons, Los Angeles, Dublin and San Diego, and loved to run and hike the local mountains.

Joan is a lifelong artist who began her career as a graphic artist working for Kerry'e Eye Newspaper in Tralee and moved on to design board games in Kinsale, Co. Cork before joining Don Bluth Studios in Dublin. This move led to animating special effects for animated feature films and commercials for 20 years and allowed her to procure a job with Walt Disney Studios. Never without a sketchbook or a paintbrush Joan always worked on her skills. In 2005 she became a Spiritual guide through Center's for Spiritual Living after 5 years of study. Watercolors and Spirituality have always been Joan's greatest passions and she combines them in her Inspirational Art.
