Author David Ramati, a Jewish Veteran of the Vietnam War served in the Vietnam War in the U.S. Marine Corps. He was born in Chicago and raised in Wisconsin.
After his service in Vietnam, he moved to Israel where he served for another 25 years as a combat infantry officer in the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF).
David is married and has a son, also an American Citizen, who carries on the proud tradition of serving in the Israeli Defense Force and also has five beautiful daughters, and twenty-nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren and probably more on the way.
David currently lives in the combat zone called Kiryat Arba Hebron and saw his time in the IDF as a continuation of his time in Vietnam in the fight for freedom as a proxy war against the enemies of America and the free world!
His current book, Destiny of Memories: Fire and Rain is the first book in a trilogy which deals with veterans returning from war and is as relevant today as it was then. Recently I survived a terrorist attack in Israel: https://youtu.be/ZOTLVwE3Xjw
