Katie Campbell is a Stage 4 cancer thriver and award-winning writer, speaker and advocate for the young adult cancer movement. Katie was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer in the fall of 2013 at the age of 30. After a year of traditional treatments and a few months of remission Katie’s cancer returned as Stage 4. She has shared her own journey as a speaker in a variety of venues including First Descents’ annual fundraiser, the Association of Oncology Social Work conference, and the Stupid Cancer podcast. Katie lives with her husband and dog in Frederick, Maryland.
