Keith Dunlap

Storyland is my first collection of poetry and My Father's Death My Brother's Death My Own is my first chapbook. I have been writing poetry for fifty years. I attended Columbia College in NYC in the late Seventies, so that I could study with the New York School of Poets, including Kenneth Koch and David Shapiro. After graduation, I worked in bars and restaurants, collected graduate degrees, acted in off-Broadway theater, played drums in bands, and wrote. It never occurred to me to publish poetry until a few years ago when I had a body of new work which I thought might find an audience. Since then I have had over one hundred poems published in literary journals. I am also a novelist, my ms., The President's Lawyer, is currently represented by Jeff Gerecke, and I am working on a sequel, titled Knightville.
