Jason Blake

Jason was born in Conyers, Georgia, and graduated from Rockdale County High School. He attended Georgetown University's School of Business Education and left after two years to begin professional work. He finished his undergraduate degree at The University of Illinois at Springfield.

Jason has lived in Georgia; Washington, DC; Las Vegas; Chicago and now Kauai, Hawaii, in the town of Lihue (Puhi).

Jason met his partner Philip Steinbacher while living in Chicago and singing as part of The Chicago Gay Men's Chorus. Jason and Philip moved to Kauai in March of 2005, They had a commitment with their families in 2007 and got legally married in December, 2013, when marriage equality arrived in Hawaii.

Jason and Philip live with their dogs Lucky and Stella (pictured). Jason enjoys hiking, travelling and scuba diving for recreation.
