Emmanuelle Walker

Emmanuelle Walker (1983-) was born in Switzerland and moved to Canada in 1994, where she studied animation. She moved to Paris in 2007 to attend the work renowned Gobelins animation school she then worked in the French animation industry before moving to London in 2012 where she now works as an Animation director and illustrator.

Her bestseller book "Beautiful Birds" won the "Best Picture Book prize at Chen Bochui International Children's Literature awards in 2016. And obtained a mention at the Bologna Ragazzi Award for Opera Prima in 2016. Count to 100 with Walker's second book "Dogs in Cars" through the many breeds of dogs from French bulldogs to Great Danes, as they wreak havoc upon the streets in their recognisable locomotives!

Emmanuelle just published her fourth album "Biomimétisme: La Nature comme modèle" a documentary book on Biomimicry and on how human and science, design, fashion imitates nature. Written by Séraphine Menu and published by the French-Canadian La Pastèque. English version to follow shortly at Seven Stories.
