Andrew Morrish

Andrew is a former headteacher and founder trust CEO. He has been a National Leader of Education, adviser, inspector, chair of governors and trustee. He is Director of his own company, Makana Leadership, and provides a range of consulting services to schools and trusts. Andrew coaches and facilitates on the NPQH and NPQEL and is the co-founder of Headrest, a 24/7 free wellbeing support service for headteachers.

Andrew is the author of ‘The Art of Standing Out’ (John Catt) and ‘The Authentic Leader’ (Bloomsbury). His new book is called ‘Beyond Belief: Why accountability in schools is broken and how to fix it.’
