Clayton Lessor

Clayton J. Lessor, PhD, LPC, is a Licensed Professional Counselor in St. Louis, Missouri, with nearly thirty years of clinical practice with adolescent boys, men, and couples. He is the founder of The Quest Project® (1996), a counselor-facilitated rite-of-passage group program with more than two thousand graduates, and the creator of Untangling the Web (1999), the eight-week structured couples intervention this workbook carries — published in The Family Journal (2026). His outcome research on The Quest Project® is published in the Journal of Adolescence (2026). A 22-year Air Force veteran and retired Captain, he is the author of Saving Our Sons (2016), winner of a Gold Mom’s Choice Award, and Generation of Men (2019).
