Hank Yuloff

Hank Yuloff is a targeted marketing tactician with over 30 years experience keeping companies “top of mind” with their customers.

In high school, after winning a writing contest to attend a Beatrice Foods stockholders meeting as a field trip, Hank Yuloff was given a Cross pen and pencil set with the corporate logo as a remembrance. Years later that meeting continues to shape his career.

After graduating from San Diego State University with a degree in Advertising and Public Relations he began his career working for two newspapers and then became a President’s Club member for both a direct mail company and a promotional products company (he was also one of their sales managers) before opening Promotionally Minded, in 1997. They specialize in targeted marketing plans (under the Yuloff Creative Marketing Solutions brand), logo development, client retention and appreciation programs, and run a nationally recognized promotional products company (that pen and pencil set the ball rolling).

He has many years of Board of Director experience for several non-profit organizations, including 2 years for a religious school and 6 for his Los Angeles Neighborhood Council. He is a past president of his local Chamber of Commerce (having served 25 years on their board) and the Specialty Advertising Association of California.

Hank has received numerous awards for public service, including the Tami Ginsburg Celebration of Service award by the United Chambers of Commerce in Los Angeles. The award is given to the individual who, from amongst the 23 Chamber members, has shown a continued involvement in many facets of the community as a volunteer.

He is the author of the book “49 Stupid Things People Do With Business Cards... and How To Fix Them” and “The Marketing Checklist - 80 Simple Ways to Master Your Marketing” which became a Best Seller on Amazon.com. Hank and his wife of 30 years, Sharyn host a weekly radio show with the same name (The Marketing Checklist).

Oh... And he still has that pen and pencil set!

Sharyn has taken a 20-year path through the business affairs and human resources departments, running both for 3 companies, and has become an online marketing expert. Over the past 11 years, they morphed their company, Yuloff Creative Marketing Solutions, into a complete marketing services firm, offering traditional and online marketing plans for small companies who never thought they could afford the benefits of a Chief Marketing Officer.

Several times each year they teach Small Business Breakthrough Bootcamps, are the authors of 6 best-selling business books and have hosted over 300 episodes of The Marketing Checklist podcast.

As a tool for small business owners to increase sales, revenue and profits, the Yuloffs created a hybrid Do-It-Yourself with Coaching marketing program called TheCompanyMarketingPlan.com

A year after The Marketing Checklist came out, Sharyn and Hank began their collaboration on 5 other Amazon best-selling books with several more scheduled.
