A good imagination, together with a love of animals, nature, and all things 'fairy', inspired me to write. Nature always amazes me. The saying “if you can imagine it, it’s probably out there” really resonates with me when I think about nature.

My first book, 'Mushroom Gully: The Rainforest Adventures of Jemma and Nat' is set in the Australian rainforest where I worked as an interpretive guide early in my career. It features Australian flora and fauna, and every scene is based on real rainforest elements. I have a postgraduate degree in Science, and have worked in the natural environment for many years.

My aim was to produce high quality book that readers would treasure for a lifetime.
