Christopher Vaughan

Christopher Vaughan born in 1953 to Ed and Amy. He has three brothers and two sisters. (The sisters really spoiled him!) He enjoyed Oak Park High School till he was made to graduate in 1972. He claims to have purchased newly released Beatles' albums. He became a born again Christian in June 1972 at Faye Moody’s kitchen table. He joined the US Air Force in 1972 till 1976. (1972 was a very busy year!) He protected Omaha, Nebraska from the Viet Cong. He graduated from Calvary Bible College in 1987. He married LaDonna in 1975. Still married, which says a lot about her endurance. He has two great kids: Shannon and Jason. He has a son-in-law, Dave. His daughter is a KCRoyals fan and her husband roots for the St. Louis Cardinals. (slight rivalry!) Chris became a father-in-law in 2016. He has 2 grandkids.

He worked in mental health short term crisis care helping adults, and adolescents until 2020 when he retired. He saw a lot of good people get better. He was born in the same hospital system that he worked for. He worked in the same building that his wife was born in. (There are no shrines!) He is a functioning brother in a church that believes that God wants you to have a relationship with Him here on the Earth and not wait until you are in heaven. Everyone can find peace with God and have peace with each other. It comes through the leading of the Holy Spirit and by salvation through Jesus Christ.
