Greg Beatty

Greg Beatty was born and raised in Ohio. Since then he's lived in Dallas, Rome, Seattle, Iowa City, and now Bellingham, Washington, where he lives with his dog Drake.

Greg has a PhD in English from the University of Iowa, but don't hold that against him.

He has published everything from editorial cartoons about basketball to essays on his cooking disasters and poems about supernovae. However, he specializes in short stories and children's picture books.

Greg has won a number of awards, including the 2005 Rhysling Award for speculative poetry and several flash fiction contests.
