Timothy Debernardi

After years in the private sector working as a corporate restructuring consultant and corporate trainer, Timothy DeBernardi decided to put his degree in Child and Youth development to work. As a classroom teacher, DeBernardi became passionate about creating an inclusive environment so all students could learn. He quickly realized that there was a need for novels that had characters who represented parts of the population that are often overlooked in popular culture.

Cabin Friends is a series written by Timothy DeBernardi, inspired by his daughter's creative ideas. Together they penned the first novel of the series. DeBernardi set out to write a wholesome book about friendship. It was as is important to DeBernardi that the work, although wholesome and appropriate for any age, also be exciting and engaging for the modern youthful reader and deliver a powerful message.

"The Mystery of the Camp Candle Lake Letters" does just that with a shocking inclusive twist at the end that will have adults, teens, and tweens alike gasping saying "No way that just happened!" Timothy DeBernardi set out to write a family-friendly mystery adventure and with the assistance of his daughter, did just that. DeBernardi writes in Niagara-On-The-Lake, Canada and is currently working on the second book in the series.
