Bret Carter

Bret Carter’s short fiction has appeared in several anthologies. Although he has published a handful of non-fiction books, his novels are still in progress and will hopefully see the light of day soon. He has written over forty plays, some of which have been produced in community and university theaters. He has been a guest lecturer at Westercon 2018 and MALCon 2019. In 2008, he had the opportunity to work with the author Orson Scott Card at Card’s Writer’s Bootcamp, held in San Diego. If you count coffee shops, Bret is an amateur musician and songwriter. He lives in Denver with his wife and three daughters—and he’s having a great time.
