Dan Bisig

Dan Bisig is an Author, College Admissions and Funding Expert, and Founder of College and Beyond, LLC (2006) and co-founder of College and Beyond – Test Prep (2013). Dan is passionate about helping students and parents connect the dots of the entire college process including career and college selection, comprehensive admissions guidance, financial aid guidance and helping students identify colleges that fit them: academically, financially, socially and geographically. Dan decided to co-author the “College Entrance Game Plan: Your Comprehensive Guide To Collecting, Organizing and Funding College” with Ryan to give families a solid roadmap to follow as they navigate their way through the college process.

Over the years, Dan has helped 100's of families locally, nationally and internationally and has been featured in a number of articles on college issues in the Cincinnati Business Courier, The Cincinnati Enquirer, Cincinnati Magazine, and Florence Recorder and has been interviewed on local TV and radio shows. He has spoken in front of thousands of families at many private and public high schools, corporations, libraries, and community organizations in the Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky area.

Dan earned a Bachelor’s degree from Eastern Kentucky University where he focused on business and music. He is a member of the National College Advocacy Group (NCAG), Higher Education Consultants Association (HECA), and the Kentucky Association for College Admission Counseling (KYACAC). Dan also volunteers his time as an instructor for Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace University at Crossroads Church, as a member of the intake team at LifeLine Ministries and is a Board Member for the Boone County Education Foundation (BCEF).
