On the world of Dominion there are those who still have magic, and there are others who would destroy them. Adventure series written for all ages.
Book 1 of the Dominion Series "Daughter's of the Dragon Keeper," is a tale of two sisters, and is written for those who love a good tale of dragons, fairies, and magic, and is written for all ages. Queen Rozar has to flee when her sister Queen Hagatha decides she wants to rule all of Dominion. As she travels to safety, secrets are revealed and the Guardians get involved. Below is an excerpt from the book when Rozar travels to an apple farm to save her kitchen boy.
"Both Higley and Lily were sitting on the sofa, holding hands, and talking quietly about how best to sell the rest of the apples when the door burst open.
Arcubus, Beretha, and Rozar entered the room.
Higley let go of Lily’s hand, and jumped to his feet. “My lady,” he said, bowing deeply.
When the woman Henri bowed before, threw back her hood, Lily’s mouth dropped open. She had only seen paintings of the High Queen of Alcyon, but there was no doubt in her mind, the woman standing not three feet from her, was Queen Rozar. She stood and bowed to show her respect for the throne, wondering what the high queen of Dominion was doing here in Henri’s house?
“Higley,” Rozar said as she touched the boy’s head in greeting, “I am glad to see you are well.”
Higley? Lily thought. She started to correct the queen, but realized it was not her place. If the queen wants to call Henri, Higley, then so be it, she told herself.
“And I, you, my lady,” Higley said as he rose from his bow.
The young man looked from the queen to Arcubus, then to Beretha. He saw all three had their eyes on Lily.
“My lady, Arcubus, Beretha, this is Lily Jahala of Lakeland,” he said, introducing the young woman to the others.
Arcubus growled when he heard the name Jahala.
The queen’s eyes grew cold as she stared at the girl standing next to Higley.
Beretha didn’t so much as twitch a facial muscle, but she studied the young woman with suspicion. They had traveled hard for the past three days to distance themselves from Hagatha, yet in front of her stood the daughter of one of her regents—Jahala, the most ruthless one of all."
