Greg Sullivan

Born in Yonkers, New York, Greg Sullivan's lifelong passion for acting led him to focus on comedy improvisation for the past three decades. Greg studied improv at The Rockland Center for the Arts, HB Studio and Chicago City Limits. In 1997 he began his own independent GS Improv classes. The following year he founded improv troupe KLAATU. For thirteen years he was a substitute teacher for improv at HB Studio in NYC. He has been featured in three Back Stage cover stories. In 2016 he founded The Bookworms, an improv comedy troupe at the Mount Kisco Public Library

Greg is the author of 9 titles on improvisation and three collected works. One of them, "The Improv Show Book" details how to put on a great shortform improv show and attained a #1 ranking on Amazon. His other titles include "Improv For Kids" and the "Improv Lessons" series. Greg is now writing his first novel, a thriller set in 1949 Paraguay.

Greg served as Book Review Editor for Flight Journal magazine.

Greg has a BA from Holy Cross and an MBA from Oswego State. He served as a Captain in the US Air Force. A single Dad, Greg lives Westchester County, NY, and with regularity spoils good walks at local golf courses.
