Jesse Doan started participating in math competitions in sixth grade. He was a United States of America Math Olympiad (USAMO) Qualifier (2017) and a United States of America Junior Math Olympiad (USAMO) Qualifier (2015). He finished first place individual in Hawaii for the American Invitational Mathematical Examination (AIME) (2015, 2017). He was awarded first place individual in Hawaii for the American Mathematics Competitions (AMC) (2012, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017). He is a MATHCOUNTS Nationals Alumnus (2012, 2013). He captured first place individual in Hawaii for the MATHCOUNTS State Competition (2013).
In addition, Jesse earned perfect scores on the math section of the GRE, SAT and the PSAT. As an eighth grader, he scored a perfect 5 on the AP Calculus BC exam. He is from the island of Maui, Hawaii. Jesse graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Stanford University in 2021. He is currently a graduate student at Stanford University.
