Jason Schmidt

Jason Schmidt was born in Southern California in 1984. As a child, he grew up with Marvel and DC superhero shows that got him into comic books. He also became addicted to video games, sci-fi, and fantasy stories.

As he got older, Jason felt there were a lot of flaws with these characters. Most of the heroes were infallible and the villains were evil for the sake of being evil. They usually didn’t have a lot of compelling backstory. These ideas grew over the years and became different characters within a story, but Jason had no plans of writing.

Life continued, Jason graduated from college, got married, and joined the Air Force. It was during a tour in Kuwait that Jason was finally driven to start writing his first story; which was published four years later. In 2019, Jason published his second novel in the Antihero Trilogy.

Currently, Jason is living in Texas with his wife and two daughters. Jason still enjoys great sci-fi and fantasy stories. When he's not writing, Jason enjoys video games, novels, and spending time with his family.
