Her short stories have appeared in several anthologies plus Proximity Magazine, a literary magazine featuring true stories. And, yes, sadly, her story "When to Walk Away" is true.

As a volunteer for local headstone restoration and a member of a ghost investigation group, Johnson discovers stories in the dark, abandoned corners of history and local lore.
