Jeff Brown

Jeff Brown, Ph.D. is the Dean of Students and Professor of Christian Studies at Hannibal LaGrange University in Hannibal, Missouri. Dr. Brown earned a B.A. in Bible from HLGU and both an MDiv and Ph.D. from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky.

Receiving a call to preach and teach at the age of 17, he has spent the past 26 years in both the academy and the local church. Brown has served churches in Missouri, Kentucky and Illinois. He currently serves as Lead Pastor of First Baptist Church of Ewing, Missouri.

Brown's passion is for "healthy churches led by content and empowered ministers who reach out to a world that so desperately needs a Savior." Currently, he is working on a book entitled, "Two Testaments, One Testimony" that explores the common themes found throughout the Bible that reveal profound insight about God's character and expectations.

Brown currently resides in Hannibal, Missouri with his wife and three school-aged children.
