David Blair

David Blair is the author of five books of poetry, a collection of essays, and the forthcoming Social Comedies, which will be published by the University of Nevada Press as part of the Test Site Prize Series in 2027. His books include Ascension Days (2007, chosen by Thomas Lux for the Del Sol Poetry Prize), Friends with Dogs (Sheep Meadow Press, 2016), Arsonville (New Issues Poetry & Prose, 2016), and three books from MadHat Press, Walk Around: Essays (2018), Barbarian Seasons (2020), and True Figures: Selected Shorter Poems and Prose Poems (2022). Blair teaches poetry in the M.F.A. Writing Program at the University of New Hampshire.
