Sibyl Collins Wilson is a native resident of Michigan. From her youth she wanted to be a writer and neurosurgeon. When she discovered practicing medicine wasn't for her, she began to work in non-profits and corporate America.
She was married to Dr. Herbert Wilson Jr., a Pastor and Evangelist, and gave birth to three sons while serving as stepmother and mentor to her husband's two children.
Ms. Wilson holds degrees in English Language and Literature and Film and Media Studies from The University of Michigan, Ann Arbor and Wayne State University respectively.
She attends Shalom Fellowship International under the leadership of Dr. Gertrude Stacks and currently serves as a Scribe, a Reader and an Announcer. She is a child advocate and former President of a local Public School Academy Board of Directors and President-Elect of Michigan PTA.
Her heart’s desire is to be who God called her to be in His Kingdom. Her life was spared after a cancer diagnosis and she is using her gifts, callings, abilities and desire for the well-being of all people for God’s glory as a sign of her gratitude to Him.
Ms. Wilson is realizing her dream to be a writer. Since she was eight, she has been writing in various genres and after much encouragement is now giving others a glimpse of her work. Look for additional works by this author coming soon in eBook, print and audio.
