Frances Applequist

Born in Newark, New Jersey, Frances Applequist lived in different towns across the state. After more than a decade as a stay-at-home mom she transitioned—in her mid-thirties—into a corporate career. During that incarnation, several literary magazines, and non-fiction venues, published her short stories and articles. In her mid-fifties Frances shifted into teaching and moved to North Carolina with her husband. In 2016, she self-published her novel, FANGS, CLAWS, AND CAMOUFLAGE: ZOMBIE PROBLEMS. In her late sixties, Frances retired to write full-time and self-published her historical fiction for middle-school readers, NATHAN ROSS AND THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION. Now in her seventies, World Castle Publishing is releasing her murder mystery, TAMPERING WITH EVIDENCE. Frances is working on sequels to the FANGS, CLAWS, AND CAMOUFLAGE series and looks forward to a long and productive future.
