Olli Anthology

Our "Poetry for Pleasure" class at OLLI-CSUF has published 6 anthologies representing over 50 authors. We enjoy reading and writing poetry and sharing our work.

OLLI (Osher Lifelong Learning Institute) operates at over 100 university campuses throughout the United States.  OLLI-California State University, Fullerton started 37 years ago and has over 1700 members-mostly retired or semi-retired.

All of our classes are free for members of OLLI.  We pay an annual fee for three semesters which includes all classes (nearly 150 classes each semester), free on-campus parking and we enjoy several CSUF on-campus privileges.  One of our missions is to collaborate with the university to share our skills and energies with students and professors.

We operate similarly to a community senior center but our programs are more academic and intellectual.  Many of our class instructors are retired from universities or local schools. Several of our lecture series classes are taught by university professors on a voluntary basis.  The success of our program is that all class coordinators and instructors are volunteers. We do not pay honorariums to speakers.
