Casey Grant

Casey Grant hails from a military family, learning from her parents the love of flying and seeing the world at a young age. After thirty-five years as one of Delta's first African-American flight attendants, Ms. Grant has published an award winning book, Stars in the Sky, which tells her journey and other African American pioneers in aviation, as they fought for their civil rights in the sky. Read the stories of racial prejudice, discrimination, the murders of two co-workers,( one murder remained unsolved for over 20 years) the glamorous life socializing with movie stars, politicians and athletics . Stars in the Sky will also give you a personal account of how travel has changed from dressing up for a flight and being served five course meals, to change in passengers attitudes and being attacked on the airplane by an irate passenger.

Ms. Grant graduated from Harrington College of Design in Chicago and opened her own design business- ECG Design Interiors, she hosts The Fly Girl Show on BlogTalkRadio.com/TheFlyGirl10. Stars in the Sky is her first book.
