Cindee Snider Re is wife of 28 years to Tony, the man she loves most in this world, they are parents of five, ages 18-27. She is co-founder of Chronic Joy®, author of the Chronic Joy Thrive Series (Discovering Hope, Finding Purpose, Embracing Worth, and Encountering Joy), photographer and creative artist.
Cindee and her family live in Wisconsin, on an acre of towering pines, sugar maples and sprawling white oak that is home to whitetail deer, wild turkey, red fox, sandhill cranes, and a symphony of songbirds. Her passions include poetry, photography, research, and tea. Luci Shaw is her favorite poet, the Canon 100mm macro, her favorite lens, and though she frequently forgets to eat, she is never without a cup, glass, or bottle of Earl Gray tea.
Cindee and four of her five kids have Ehlers-Danlos, a genetic connective tissue disorder and myriad co-existing conditions. While a life steeped in illness isn’t what she would have chosen, she also wouldn’t have wanted to miss it, for she’s learning that the deeper the valley, the greater her capacity for joy, for its there, sewn into every hard, beautiful, precious moment.
Cindee’s writing inspires readers to dig deeper, lean harder and breathe deeply of God’s amazing grace.
