His novels, including the highly acclaimed THE PEARL OF YORK, TREASON and PLOT, are set in Tudor and Stuart England and have been described as perfect reading for the lovers of writers such as C.J. Sansom and S. J. Parris. Tony gives history talks on a number of topics, including Guy Fawkes and the Gunpowder Plot and Tudor and Stuart York.

On the innovation side, Tony's latest book is co-authored with his University of Leeds colleague Dr Lena Jaspersen.
