Bob Koonce

Bob Koonce (rkoonce@highrelgroup.com or call 331-223-9722) was raised on a farm in central Illinois. With an adventurous spirit and curious mind, he joined the US Navy after graduating from the University of Illinois in Electrical Engineering. Bob spent twenty years on five different nuclear submarines traveling all over the world. He was the Commanding Officer of USS KEY WEST (SSN 722), a Los Angeles class submarine, based in historic Pearl Harbor. Bob and his wife, Rita, and their three children retired from the Navy in 2011 and settled in St. Charles, Illinois.
