Steven W. Allen is a lawyer, an author and a popular speaker. He received his Juris Doctor degree from Arizona State University College of Law. He was a member of the State Bar of Arizona, The National Lawyers Association, The National Association of Elder Law Attorneys, and the National Speakers Association. Allen is considered by many to be a preeminent expert in matters of estate planning and asset protection. He is now retired from his law practice in Mesa, Arizona.
Steve Allen is a student of the scriptures and his background in the law brought him to a study of the most famous trial in history . . . the trial of Christ. He has taught a series of classes on this subject at BYU Campus Education Week for 15+ years which led to his book, "The Illegal Trial of Christ."
Through his interest and extensive study in the creation of The United States of America, he discovered many interesting but lesser known stories about the founders of this nation. He has taught popular classes on the founding fathers at BYU Campus Education Week reinforcing the principles he wrote about in his award winning book "Founding Fathers – Uncommon Heroes." In this book, Steve gloriously brings to life the heroes of the American Revolution. Senator Orrin G. Hatch was so fascinated by Steve’s description of the lives of these Founding Fathers that he happily agreed to write a foreword to Steve’s book. His other highly praised books are "Give Me Liberty" (a quote book) and "You Can’t Take It With You—So How Will You Leave It Behind? A Plain English Guide to Wills and Trusts."
Each year on President’s Day, Steve Allen was the host of the largest community celebration for George Washington’s Birthday in Arizona. The last year of his presentation more than 3,500 neighbors and friends attended, along with George Washington, Benjamin Franklin, Patrick Henry and several Revolutionary War soldiers (well, okay, they were actors). The event was covered by all the major news stations in the valley.
Steven Allen resides in Mesa with his wife, Linda. They have five wonderful children and 13 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. He is currently retired but continues to speak out.
