Sharon Brady-Smith

Sharon Brady-Smith is the pseudonym for plain old Sharon Smith, as there are too many of them. She is happily married, and has been for the last twenty-five years, with two grown up children, Laura and Bryan, and a spoilt fur baby called Cookie.

Sharon has worked in a variety of jobs including shopping mall cleaner, toilet attendant, secretary, IT professional and coffee shop owner. She currently lives in Sheffield and works part-time. She is using all this “spare time” as an excuse to realise her ambition of writing her own book.

Sharon runs two writers groups through which she hopes to encourage other writers. The Stannington Library Writers Groups has run since September 2015 and now has three self-published anthologies. The Ecclesfield Library Writers Group is due to publish its first anthology at the end of November 2017.
