Edward B. Allen

Edward B. Allen is the author of books for three styles of devotional Bible study. Verse-by-verse books draw points from a book or passage of Scripture in sequence. Historical-people books focus on incidents in the lives of historical people that illustrate biblical principles. Topical books explore relevant Scriptures throughout the Bible. His books also include many personal stories from modern life.

His books are in two series. Books in the A Slow Walk series have short meditations in daily-devotional format. Books in the Devotional Commentary series are straight reads with a devotional slant, rather than academic or theological comments.

He received a Ph.D. in Computer Science degree at Florida Atlantic University and had a career in software engineering. He has authored or coauthored over 80 professional papers.
