Dr. Sinclair N. Grey III

An inspirational speaker, motivator, author, organizer and “liberator of persons from all intellectual, social and cultural walks of life”, Dr. Grey is a committed advocate for communal change. As a strong proponent of gathering the masses through grassroots efforts, Dr. Grey has dedicated much of his life to mobilizing and inspiring others to achieve their true potential.

A native of the Washington, DC metropolitan area, Dr. Grey graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminology from the University of Maryland, College Park, Maryland, in 1991. After receiving his call to preach in 1997, Dr. Grey earned a Master's of Divinity degree and graduated Cum Laude from the Samuel DeWitt Proctor School of Theology at Virginia Union University, Richmond, Virginia, in 2002. He is a certified NTU Psychotherapist and has received certificates of completion from The Addiction Prevention and Recovery Administration in psychopharmacology and adolescent and addiction issues in addition to serving as a facilitator for a Rites of Passage program geared toward young males. He also conducted voter registration drives in Virginia and Washington, DC; participated in a protest march against police brutality in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and spearheaded an Anti-Prostitution protest in Washington, DC; organized a conference on Domestic Violence Against Women and appeared as a guest speaker in various forums including the National Black Religious Summit on Sexuality and the DC Department of Family Preservation Teen Assessment Program. In 2012, Dr. Grey was awarded a doctorate of divinity degree from St. Thomas Christian University in Jacksonville, Florida.

As a former pastor of The Liberation Temple, a non-denominational Christian Church in Mt. Rainer, MD, Dr. Grey initiated the following programs: a monthly feeding program that fed over 200 homeless men and women throughout the Washington, DC area, a yearly back-to-school program that provided school supplies to children within the community, an outreach program that supplied clothes and resources to victims of domestic abuse, computers to a local elementary school, entrepreneurship workshops for the youth, seminars on ending violence, and much more just to name a few.

Acknowledging his ability to relate to young people, Dr. Grey served as a Project Director with Progressive Life Center in Washington, DC, where he oversaw a mentoring program geared toward children whose parents were incarcerated. He has made appearances on radio talk shows including Interfaith Radio. Dr. Grey is also the author of five books, Seeds of Freedom: Inspirational Messages for Ordinary People with Extraordinary Potential, God Held Back Your Night So That You Can Get It Right, It's In You: Motivational Messages That Will Help Uplift and Empower You, Positive Living Through Positive Affirmations, So, You Think You Want To Date? (Thoughts and Reflections on Wise, Skillful Dating) , and The ABC's of Making Business Networking Work For You.

Dr. Grey was inducted into Cambridge's Who's Who for his work in advocating empowerment and justice within the church and country as a whole. He is a member of the NAACP, SCLC, and the Atlanta Business League. Dr. Grey currently writes daily inspirational messages that travel throughout the world. His daily inspirational messages is currently heard on Montgomery Alabama's station, Hallelujah 104.3fm and read in The Soul Pitt Quarterly Magazine in Pittsburgh, Pa.

As a freelance writer, Dr. Grey writes over 17 articles each week that travel to different news outlets globally. The current outlets Dr. Grey writes and edits for are: Financial Juneteenth, Black Like Moi, All Christian News, Your Black World, and Kulture Kritic. He's also a weekly contributor to The Daytona Times and The Florida Courier. Dr. Grey formally hosted his own radio and television show called The Sinclair Grey Show that dealt with issues on business, education, and politics, just to name a few. On Nov 3rd, 2015, Dr. Grey was elected to the Board of Education for Social Circle City Schools in Social Circle, Georgia.

In addition to this, Dr. Grey has spoken to various audiences such as insurance companies, telecommunication firms, and nursing homes, just to name a few. Without a doubt, Dr. Grey loves what he does and wants to empower as many people as possible.
