DawnMarie Carpintero, a book reviewer, decided to become a writer after her author friends suggested that she follow her dreams and try her hand at penning romances. Born and raised in New Jersey, she has three children, a stepdaughter, and four grandchildren. She lives in Oklahoma City with her feline baby, Squirt, and her canine buddies, Goldie and Freedom. When she’s not writing or reviewing books, DawnMarie enjoys baking and helping others in her community.
