Suzanne Flaig

Suzanne Flaig is a former piano and organ teacher from Pennsylvania who grew up in Reading, Pennsylvania. She moved to Middletown, PA at age sixteen where she met her husband and raised her family. Her musical career started with piano lessons at age six, and organ lessons at age nine. After graduating from Ithaca College with a major in French, she attended Millersville College for her teaching certification. Over the years, she has worked as a piano and organ teacher, a substitute high school teacher, a roller rink organist, a roller rink owner, a skating coach, a lab technician, a writer, editor, and publisher.

Suzanne began writing full time after moving to Arizona in 1998. Now a great-grandmother, she spends her time writing and editing. She is the author of the Missy Jenkins musical mystery series, and has published numerous short stories, poems and magazine articles. She has also served as editor for several anthologies and books by other authors. Suzanne is a member and past president of the Desert Sleuths Chapter of Sisters in Crime and holds membership in the Society of Southwestern Authors and the Small Mystery Fiction Society. She is the facilitator of the Mesa Writer's Guild in Mesa, AZ.
