Thomas G. Broussard, Jr., Ph.D., founded Stroke Educator, Inc. in 2015. He is running a 50-state Aphasia Awareness Campaign (39 states so far), talking about stroke, aphasia, and recovery. Stroke Diary: A Primer for Aphasia Therapy (Vol I), Stroke Diary, The Secret of Aphasia Recovery (Vol II), and Stroke Diary, Just So Stories, How Aphasia Got Its Language Back (Vol III) and received a Gold Award from the Florida Authors and Publishers Association completing three of the series. His his fourth book, The ABCs of Aphasia: A Stroke Primer was published in 2020. His FIFTH book, Stroke and Aphasia Recovery: Metaphors Help Us Mend was published in 2022 and received a Silver Award from the Florida Authors and Publishers Association on July 30, 2022.
