Amanda has been obsessed by crochet & colour her whole life, her ambition is to produce innovative designs which will excite and inspire her readers to pick up a hook and play .

She makes blankets as they give her a big canvas to experiment with colour and shape.

Amanda spent 12 years running her own independent hand dyeing yarn business – The Natural Dye Studio. She started designing crochet patterns as pattern support for her yarn, over the course of time the yarn became support for her patterns. So in 2015 she closed the yarn business to concentrate on being a full time crochet designer.

Amanda lives in a small village, perched high on a sea cliff on Exmoor, Devon, UK, living in such a amazingly beautiful place inspires and influences a lot of her work.
