Taylor serves as Associate Vice President for Spiritual Life and University Ministries and as Associate Professor of Faith and Culture at Trinity International University in Chicago. He is also the managing director of The Resilience Project for the Center for Transformational Churches at Trinity. He completed a Ph.D. with the Institute for Theology, Imagination, and the Arts at the University of St. Andrews in the areas of contemporary art and theological aesthetics. His scholarly projects center on theological explorations of the visual arts and cinema as well as engaging Dietrich Bonhoeffer’s Christological sociality for the church in the world.
