Adam K. Nelson is the author of three books: Daddy's Day In (2016), Learning to Live (2013), and A Night With St. Nick (2009).
Adam began his career at Drury University in Springfield, Mo., where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature in 2001. Since that time he has continued his studies at Missouri State University, married, and grown a family with his wife, Diana.
Adam's latest book, Daddy's Day In, is the satirical but ultimately heartwarming story of a dad left at home with his three young sons while Mom gets to go out.
His second book, Learning to Live, is meant to be the first in a series of books. It is the thrilling story of a young man surviving a devastated world and finding faith and hope in the midst of despair and loneliness.
Adam's first novel, A Night With St Nick, is a Christian juvenile fiction Christmas story that was published in 2009.
Like many writers, Adam likes to read, and he will read just about any genre. He is also obsessive about films and film reviews. He and Diana watch the Super Bowl like everyone else, but the REAL party with all the cheese dipped snacks is on Oscar night.
Adam also really enjoys a good bonfire, playing the drums (including the djembe - an African hand drum), singing, and enjoying some time of fellowship with his family and his brothers and sisters in Christ.
During most of his free time, you'll find him tapping out a new idea on his laptop.
