Memo Moringa

My name is Memo Moringa which is a "nom de plume" also known as a "pen name." Until I was sixteen years old I did not know my real first name was William. This was not to my liking and when I retired to Mexico I enjoyed the Spanish version of my real first name which is Guillermo. Settling into a seaside pueblo of 1,500 people my name was quickly changed to the nick name of Guillermo, which is Memo. O.K., I thought to myself, thatīs simple and memorable, so... everyone in town calls me Memo.

Now fully retired I decided to dedicate my time to healthy happy living as long as possible in order to experience as many grandchildren as possible. Healthy living is easy here in the tropical area of Mexico with many fruits and fish to extend my existence. The number one source of good health through vitamins and antioxidants is a tropical plant by the name of moringa. I quickly adopted the task of growing my own moringa and in short order got involved with a permaculture farm growing this super food. So... now my second name became moringa and in short order the majority of people in town and those visiting now know me as Memo Moringa.

What is in a name but the true essence of a person? People recognize me and easily remember me as Memo. Did you get the memo? Since my time is dedicated to the growing, harvesting, production and distribution of moringa, my last name is Moringa. It is simple to say, unforgettable and speaks volumes of who I am, Memo Moringa. Just ask anyone in my town.

As you may have perceived by now, I like to talk and in like manner, enjoy writing. Thoughts run through my head a million times until I speak them and even more so when I write them down. To that end I decided to write my first book about my life in the tropics of Mexico. That life is all about moringa and thus the book title became Moringa of Mexico and my life is Tropical Life in the Riviera Nayarit.
